The merge views function joins all 2D
data objects of the same data
type which are currently opened in a window or tab
on the workspace. The current active 2D data object is meant to be the reference object and remaining objects of the same data type will be transformed
to fit the current object.
Undo merging is very easy!
To separate all merged data objects again,
just use the Split
View command from the 2D
View menu.
If you just like to close a single data
object, activate it in the data view and press the DEL-key
to close it.
If you just like to see a single object
in a separate window again, drag
it out of the current data view and drop it on the tab
flag area on top of the data views.
